The true measurement of success is not how much money you made. The true measurement of success is the impact you make with other people’s lives. It is about the legacy you build while you are still alive.

Kobe Bryant’s death is a remembrance for all of us that life will change in an instant.

His death reminds us that we are all connected.

Even though we don’t privately know him, he still transformed our lives. He inspired us to wake up every day and master our craft. He taught us that mixing mental strength and hard work is the key to achieving our goals.

To be honest with you, I don’t know what to write anymore. Few days have already passed since his death, but I’m still devastated. He was my role model growing up. Even though I moved on from my athletic life, I still use the lessons I gained from him.

Life is tough, but we have to keep moving forward. That’s the only way. Death gives our life meaning. We never know when our time’s up. We have to cherish the moments we spend with each other.
